On June 7th, the Sudbury Clinic opened its doors to people in the region who wished to know more about services offered by the Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers Inc.. The new clinic is located at 432 Westmount Avenue. The first location of the Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers opened in Hamilton on February 16, 1989. Funded by the Ministry of Labour and led by a Board of Directors composed of union leaders, managers, business leaders and worker advocates, it was truly a joint initiative to address the need for workers to access occupational medicine/hygiene expertise to prevent occupational disease.
