NOTE: Our learning resources are not intended as training, rather we are sharing occupational health and safety knowledge in practical terms for individual consideration, workplace application and injury / illness prevention.

This learning resource was designed using OHCOW’s Office Ergonomic Reference Guide which is largely based on CSA Z412: 17 (R2023), Office ergonomics – An application standard for workplace ergonomics. In it you will learn about ergonomic risks associated with office work and how to reduce these risk factors through correct office equipment setup. It will provide knowledge on the proper features and setup of chairs, external equipment, accessories, technology, and many other aspects associated with working in an office.
